CONDITIONS OF SALE
- No Collect Calls
- A standard 1/3
deposit is required at time of sale. Items
purchased out of stock require full payment
at time of sale. We accept cash, personal
checks, cashier's checks or traveler's
checks, ATM/Debit cards, MasterCard and
Visa.
- Balance is due
when your furniture is ready to ship: a)
cash,
b) cashier's check, c) personal check
must clear before shipping (approximately
2 weeks).
- All price quotes
are subject to manufacturer's price at
time of acknowledgment of your order.
- Orders shipped
direct from the factory require full payment
when placed (100%).
- Merchandise ordered
from the factory cannot be cancelled if
ordered especially for you unless the
manufacturer will accept. ALL cancelled
orders require a 25% cancellation fee.
All "in-stock" items purchased cannot
be returned unless there is a manufacturer
defect (which we will have the manufacturer
replace or repair), so please make your
choices carefully.
- Due to Southern
Designs' liberal discount, we do not minutely
inspect and deluxe the furniture we sell.
We offer advice and touch-up materials,
replace hardware, etc., if you find slight
imperfections in the product or workmanship
upon receipt or for a period of 3 days
afterwards. (See claims for warranties
on product).
- We do not guarantee
new replacement items if the original
piece is repairable. The decision on replacement
or repair of a damaged item is made by
the manufacturer. If a damage or defect
occurs the correction or repair can require
as much time as the original order. Such
is the nature of the special order business.
- Most orders
require 12-14 weeks delivery to our warehouse,
but can take and sometimes do take longer.
We cannot guarantee exact delivery
dates.
- If you pick up
your furniture at our store, please
inspect as no returns or claims of damage
are allowed after it has been in your
possession. You will also need to
bring any wrapping material to protect
any uncartoned furniture. Any allowable
returns must be returned to our store
or freight prepaid.
- We are not responsible
for fit and/or entry of furniture into
your home.
- Customers are
responsible for any and all sales tax.
No matter what state you live in, we are
required to collect NC sales tax
on items that you take possession of while
in North Carolina.
